Seaward Mobile 3 Completes Waterborne Underwater ICCP Anode Change Out On Battleship Wisconsin

Seaward's Norfolk Mobile Diving Unit 3 has successfully completed ICCP system repairs on the Battleship Wisconsin under the Underwater Maintenance and Repair Contract with the City of Norfolk. The scope of work included repairs to the fastener fairings, dielectric shielding, and waterborne replacement of two 8 ft. anodes and the applicable the electrical connections inside the ship.

 


 
Project dive team members were Pete Carlson, Tara Carter, Mike Hummel, Chris Stapleton, Richard Conners, and Taylor Peterson.  Inside support team members were Maxwell Spruill, Preston Edwards, and Jake Gladfelter.  The job was successfully completed within the budget estimate provided to the City of Norfolk, under the supervision of Frank Sedlack (Diving Supervisor) and Vernon “Dean” Womack (Project Manager). Congratulations on another job well done by Seaward Mobile 3.
